Justice Neil sworn in at Government House

Mr Neil is a non-citizen from New South Wales, Australia. He was admitted to practice law in Papua New Guinea in 1970. He has practiced law in Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand. In Papua New Guinea, he practiced law for many years in both the public and private sector and has gained extensive experience as a civil and commercial litigation lawyer. At the time of his appointment, he was a senior lawyer with Ashurst Law firm. He is being appointed for a term of three (3) years as a National and Supreme Court Judge
